Today, we took the girls on an "adventure" to the post office, to pick up a "special" package. They couldn't wait until we got home to see what was in it. But first, we had to make a quick pit stop at grocery store. So by the time we did get home, they could hardle contain themselves!!
It was almost like piranhas attacking a piece of meat!! I have never seen two little girls rip through a package like that... and boy, oh boy, when they saw what was inside they were even more excited!
It was a Disney Princess Tent!!
Last year, I signed us up for the Disney Movie Rewards Program. Its a program that gives you 100 points or so with every Disney movie purchase. Well, after about 8 months... we finally had enough points to get the tent; which was 700 points.
It's like getting a "free" prize. It was nice, I didn't even have to pay for shipping or handling.
Can't wait to see how they react when their Disney Princess hats come in the mail. :)
The picture above is Bella & Kayla pretending together. It just absolutely melts my heart to see them playing and getting along with each other. They really are Best Friends!!
She's an everyday princess
Whether in silk, satin or jeans
She is my everyday princess
And nothing in between!
She's a little lady
When she is finely dressed
And she's a princess in denim
With her jeans and vest!
With slacks and sweater
She still wears the crown
Of a precious little princess
Spreading joy around!
For it is not the clothes that she may wear
That truly make her shine
It is the light and joy from within her soul
That radiates from this everyday princess of mine!
