Sea World

So... on Saturday, February 2nd, we decided to take the girls to Sea World. It was such a beautiful day and barely anyone was there!! It was almost like having the whole park to ourselves!! It was so awesome. No feeling clastrophobic, no being pushed, no rushing to make sure we saw everything. It was just a nice, relaxing day... moving at our own pace and spending quality time together as a family! Not only did we get to see EVERYTHING but we had time to spare and to top it off our feet weren't aching!! But we were definitely worn out by the end of the day. The girls fell asleep for the WHOLE 10 minute drive home. Ten minutes!?!?! I can't believe we are that close to Sea World. We love living in San Diego, there are so many things for us to do down here as a family without having to drive forever and a day to get too. Which is so nice. This is definitely a place we like to call, "home"!!

"Rocky Point Preserve" - Sea Lions

So lunch time at Sea World was pretty interesting for us. We originally wanted to do the "Dine with Shamu" thing but it was a little more than we wanted to pay. Especially, because we are taking the girls to Disneyland in a couple weeks. Anyways, we decided to eat at the Shipwrek Cafe, which we thought would be really cool considering you could sit next to the Sea Turtle exhibit and there was PLENTY of open tables! Well, now we know why barely anyone was sitting there. Not only did a seagull almost leave a nasty surprise in Isabella's pudding but those suckers are mean! They kept trying to swoop down and steal our food!!! So, after about five minutes of trying to "scare" the seagulls away, we gave up and moved to a different table that was in this "tunnel" which had an awesome view of salt water fish in a Submarine tank.
